Donkey Kong II (D2K) Jumpman Returns

Donkey Kong II Jumpman Returns (or shortened to just D2K) is a mod for the original Donkey Kong arcade that adds four new levels, changes two original levels, adds new cut scenes, and adds a high score save feature.

It was created by Jeff Kulczycki in 2006 and is not an official Nintendo licensed product.  The D2K mod chip is available on Jeff’s website http://jeffsromhack.com/ is easy to install, and retails for $79 USD.

In addition to the chip there are also conversion kits to convert an original Donkey Kong arcade into a D2K cab.

If you are big fan of the original Donkey Kong arcade be sure to check out Donkey Kong II Jumpman Returns. The game is very challenging and holds true to the original gameplay and feel.  I for one went “bananas” playing this game because it’s so challenging.
