I bought a blue one on Black Friday, and I like it. Wal-Mart had a pretty nice deal of $119 for the system, case, and Sticker Star. Perfect way to get a foot in the 3DS library, since I didn't already have a 3DS.

I do wish it had its own 2DS loading screen...that would've been a nice touch to give it its own identity instead of making it feel even more like a bare bones 3DS.

My one major complaint is still the region lock. We hates it, Precious.

As I work in a gamestore, I have seen plenty of parents considering the 2DS just as the 3DS XL for their children. The build quality is very decent and it does feel more sturdy then their other models.

Personally I have a 2DS, 3DS and 3DS XL and allthough I will stick to my XL, I really liked the feeling of the 2DS more then I tought it would be.
