Post Anyone own a gameboy printer?

But when watching some old recorded movies I saw a commercial for something called the Gameboy Printer, now I had never heard of this though I was never a huge Nintendo fan at the time neither.

I'm tempted to buy one though it seems I would need to hunt down the paper and perhaps ink which can get costly $$$ Does anyone actually own one of these models? Would it be worth buying?

My neighbor friend when I was a kid had one. But neither of us had an original gameboy, we only had GameBoy Colors and GameBoy Advances. Couldn't get it to work for either. And I believe the GB Printer actually used thermal paper, so I don't think you have to worry about ink.

It came with 3 boxes of paper for it. The paper isn't expensive online and I don't see a place for ink so fox is most likely right that it is thermal paper (it's buried in my closet and I don't really want to check to be positive but pretty sure he's right.)
