How to Make NES Repro Carts – Part 1: Games Without Wires

If you’ve ever wanted to know how Nintendo Reproduction carts are made or have wanted to make your own, here’s the first video of many on how to make them.

This video acts as a beginner’s guide from start to finish. Some of the things I mention may not make the most sense at first but after you finish making one, it will. If you start making your own games and have any questions along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly on Facebook, Twitter or in the comments below.

I’ve had a lot of help along the way so I’m giving back to show you how to make these. Hopefully it’ll also show you an appreciation for all of those who do make these and the time, effort and quality of work they put into them.

About John Riggs

A professional radio DJ by day and father of three, two of which have been diagnosed with autism, John Riggs enjoys hacking (or "Rigging") NES games to include his family and friends which you can see on his YouTube channel Riggstalgic which has even been featured on ABC's 'Right This Minute'. He also has a knack for anything nostalgic and has an almost unhealthy obsession with breakfast cereal. Although Riggs claims he loves all systems, he's very fond of NES, SNES, Genesis and TurboGrafx-16/TurboDuo. A few of his favorite games include The Legend of Zelda, ActRaiser, Sword of Vermillion and the Fire Pro Wrestling series from Japan. LIKE on Facebook | FOLLOW on Twitter | FOLLOW on Instagram
