The Game Room Hidden Gems for the Xbox 360 Part 1

So I was going through the old game collection and found some games that I have not really played much, or have not put too many hours into, and I thought to myself….why? Why have I not played this game that much before, and why was it at the back of my shelf?

Then like a bolt of lightning it hit me!  I had forgotten all about these games.  So that brings me to this written blog about experiencing this feeling.  You’re probably thinking to yourself…sure I don’t play every single game I buy either, whats the big deal?  The big deal is that these are not just any games, but these are games I had fun playing when I first bought them, and they’re really not that old.

Let’s begin with the first game in this series; Hitman Blood Money.  I’m sure some of you are thinking, hold on, that’s on original Xbox title, and yes you’d be correct.  However not too many people realize, or I should say remember, that not only did the game come out on the last gen consoles, but it was also released on the current gen systems too.

Granted there are no real big differences in the game at least nothing major. There are some better lighting effects and smoother textures which is nice, but nothing that will really change how you feel about the game or the playability of the game. The one added feature that I love about it most is the fact the now I can get acheivements for playing it…which is a huge plus for me.

Both the story and missions are the same, and it’s essentially the same game, but because the 360 was a new system when it was released, it’s one of those earlier titles that fell between the cracks and not a lot of people got a chance to grab it for the 360.  Most people got the PS2 or original Xbox versions, and if you have those versions  you honestly don’t need to have the Xbox 360 version.  Unless you are a serious collector in which case I highly recommend you add Hitman Blood Money to your collection.

I hope you enjoyed this quick little blog, and there will definately be more to come.  I’m hoping to do a lot more writing and maybe some exclusive videos too.

I would also like to thank John Gamester 81 for allowing me to be a part of this site, and I’m looking forward to working more closely with everyone in the near future.
