Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead recently surpassed the 100th issue of the graphic novel, and the TV version of The Walking Dead is a smash hit for AMC. However if you haven’t already played it, I highly recommend The Walking Dead video game developed and published by Telltale Games. For me personally it’s one of the top games of 2012.
Since April 2012 Telltale has released four episode of their point and click The Walking Dead adventure game. Much like the graphic novel and TV show, the game is heavily based on character development and the will of mankind to survive in a zombie infested environment. The voice acting is topnotch, and the writing is superb.
Both GameStop and Telltale Games announced recently that they will be releasing a very limited Collector’s Edition of The Walking Dead exclusively for GameStop pre-orders for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The set will retail for $69.99 and will include a disc version of all four episodes, as well as a 1,000 page special edition graphic novel of The Walking Dead with the first 48 issues.
Be sure to check out this very limited edition Collector’s Edition before the supply is “dead”.
