One of the draws to many gaming conventions are finding exclusives that you can’t find anywhere else. I’m honored to be a part of this tradition of a homebrew I edited (or “Rigg’d“) for the upcoming Cowlitz Gamers for Kids expo in Washington State. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds on this title go to charity.
Introducing Blow’em Out for CJAC.
This title is based from Greeting Carts awesome homebrew, Blow’em Out. They donated the original rom for me to edit specifically for this convention. I changed the main characters to expo organizer and all around friend to us all, John Hancock, and his daughter Kaylee who happens to be riding their cat, Princess.
This video gives you a little sneak peek at the game. Again, the only way to buy this game is by attending the Cowlitz Gamers for Kids expo in Longview, Washington. They’re priced at $35 and 100% of the sales will go to Cowlitz Justice and Advocacy Center which helps kids in that area.
This project wouldn’t have happened without the help of Bill Hecklick for the ROM, Corey Strite, Jon Rose, Chris Trimiew, Rick of Advantage Screen Printing, and Dan Carter. We all donated something, whether it was money, time and/or resources to make Blow’em Out for CJAC a reality.
