Retro game collecting just isn’t fun anymore. Local thrift store & flea market finds are becoming few & far between and the prices are raising through the roof on eBay & other online re-sellers. Fortunately, there are alternatives available that allow fans of the NES & other classic Nintendo & Sega cartridge based consoles to play rarities like Little Samson & Wild Guns on the legit hardware without breaking the bank. In this Cygnus Destroyer special, we’re going to take a closer look at the wonderful world of bootleg compilations & Everdrive flash carts. Thanks for watching:)

As a counterpoint, Krikzz, the creator of the Everdrive, addressed this issue on his forum and said that he’s never had any issues with his products in over seven years of heavy use: http://krikzz.com/forum/index.php?topic=6614.msg51195#msg51195
Long story short, I’ve personally had no issues with my Everdrives, so you should be fine, too, but I’d recommend staying away from the CoolBoy carts & the Super 150 in 1 to be safe.
