Ryan is a 23 year old from England UK, and grew up playing the Nintendo, SNES, N64, & Sega Mega drive with his friends. His first console was the Game Boy colour.

In recent years Ryan became interested in studying the 50+ year history of video games, from the very first game 'Tennis For Two' (1958), right up to the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U games.

In late 2012 Ryan started a YouTube channel called http://www.youtube.com/user/comicconreviews where he began producing a show called 'Video Game History" that has a focus on educating gamers about the fascinating history of video games, whilst sharing his passion for the subject.

Ryan is also the author of the graphic novel 'Hippy Jonny and the banality of life' which was published in late 2011.
