I know there are some Linux gamers out there. Lets hear about it. Looking forward to Steam's release on Linux very soon.

I rocked Ubuntu Linux for several years, while I was considering switching from Windows to my next OS. I really enjoyed the operating system and found it surprisingly full featured. Ultimately I switched to OSX for video production, but part of me misses Linux. I should setup a Virtual Machine and give the latest Linux builds a go again!

Go for it. Could always try using OpenShot, its an open source video editor. Also Blender has a really powerful video editor too, but I don't know how to use it. I love Ubuntu and I'll most likely never switch back to windows unless I have to. Waiting patently for Steam to be released for Linux. Its in an external closed beta right now. So, hopefully by Christmas, or January, it'll be ready.

I set up a puppy arcade install on a usb stick plugged into a netbook for some retro gaming during the plane ride/downtime of a family holiday a few years ago. Outside of that I've only really used linux for work.
