I freaking love the horror genre no matter what media it's convayed in.
There are some great titles in the horror genre, Resident Evil (1st - Code Veronica), the Penumbra games, Overblood; the list goes on.
But what do you think are the worst, the most under-rated and the best horror games out there.

BTW if you say Slender I'll be angry 😡

I really enjoyed Alone in The Dark: the New nightmare on the Dreamcast. Far superior than the PS1 port.
The game D for the SEGA Saturn was very creepy.

Those are rather underrated I think

I am yet to play D (it does look good).
But I have to disagree with Alone in the Dark 4, I own it for the PS2 and I thought it felt broken and the scares where laughable.

I think that the scariest game I ever played was Alien vs. Predator on a Mac. I don't know, the atmosphere, the sound of a tracking device, it's just a perfect horror game for me.

My favorite series is Resident Evil, always has been for this genre since I first played Resident Evil 2 on PS1 years back. It may be cliched, but I don't care, I've always loved Zombie movies and that's basically what the Resident Evil series is in video game form.

ive heard that from people but didn't experience it on dc....nevr played on ps2 but maybe its possible that it craped it self when ported--...i dunno....
