I haven't had a chance to play it myself I don't have Duke Nukem so I have to collect some items in exhumed/powerslave which I haven't had a chance to do just yet. would you say its worth the effort?

As I recall, the Powerslave version isn't as cleaned up, and I think the title screen and music wasn't in that one. But definitely give it a try with at least a couple other players. If you do come across a copy of Duke Nukem you just have to save a game of Quake and Death Tank Zwei will show up on Duke Nukem's menu screen.

Weird thing was, even though it wasn't a stand-alone title, it was the game my friends and I spent the most time playing. We just sort of had a constant rotation going between Death Tank, Puzzle Fighter and Street Fighter Alpha 2. Those were the days.

Death Tank Zwei is an awesome game. You can hook up a multi-tap and get some huge, wild games going in it. It's a ton of fun if you can get the people around. Heck, even playing a simple two-player game can be a blast.
