I know for some of you guys this is like asking which of your children/future children is your favorite but try your best anyways.

Mine is probably The Legend of Dragoon. While I recognize it's not the best PS1 RPG, it's definitely my favorite. It was the first RPG I ever played so it'll always hold a special place in my heart.

So, what about you guys?

Every time I play I rename Red XIII to Nanaki and Aeries to Aerith.
makes me giggle when they find out Nanakis name is Nanaki and seem surprised. Yes simple things amuse simple people ...

Breath of Fire III is my absolute favorite. I'd say Parasite Eve, Final Fantasy IX, and Legend of Dragoon come after that.

I have been wanting to replay Legend of Legaia, played it back in the day but didn't get to finish it.

I think people bash it just for the sake of bashing it. It's become pretty the stereotypical overrated game and in my opinion, that evens it out again if you thought it was too overrated in the beginning. Whether or not you liked FFVII, you have to give credit where credits due and realize that if it weren't for FFVII, RPGs wouldn't have gotten popular in the west and as a result, we would miss out on allot of great games that have been made since.
