Hi everyone!

I figure I'll take this opportunity to introduce myself a bit. My name is Ryan Phoenix, or the RPG Tour Guide as I go by on my YouTube channel and a few other sites. I am new to the forums here, but I've been stopping by Gamster81 for a while now. I follow several of the contributors to the site on YouTube and hope to find many more people through the forums here. This is a great site with a bunch of great people. I hope to talk to and get to know more of you. So feel free to send me a message or a reply! 🙂

Now, about my YouTube channel, RPGtourguide... I am a huge fan of the RPG genre of video games, as you might have guessed. That's why I decided that I want RPG's to be the main focus of my channel (I do post some videos about other games, such as an LP of Yoshi's Island currently being uploaded). After doing some thinking, I came up with this "tour guide" concept which I try to incorporate into all of my videos. I play the part of the guide, showing you the world of the game while giving you as much information as I can about it. I try to be educational and informative, while trying to have fun with it as well. 😉

I started out doing Let's Play videos, or as I call them "Let's Tours". But now I am trying to do a variety of videos, as well as the LP's/LT's. I am working on a video series called Speedy Tours, which gives a quicker but more indepth look at one segment of a game. These videos will talk about game mechanics, little known facts about games, tips or strategies for overcoming bosses or puzzles, leveling up tricks, and more. I currently have two Speedy Tour videos uploaded, one about Zelda 2 (I Am Error) and another about Chrono Trigger (the court room scene). I also do collection videos, where I show off and talk about games that I have recently picked up. And I plan to do much more in the future, including reviews, game theories and other videos. So be on the look out for more from me! 😀

Hey guys. Just figured I'd post a little update here. My Yoshi's Island Let's Tour is now complete. So you can check out the entire video series on the playlist above. 😉

Also, I figured I'd share this video. It is a video response I did for a fellow YouTuber, JCAU99. He recently reached 200 subscribers and for a contest, asked people to make a creative video response. So this is what I came up with. 😛 People seemed to like it, so I figured I'd share it here.

Hey guys. Wow, it's been too long since I've been here. 🙁 I've been doing quite a bit on my channel since I last posted here. I've begun a new video series on Grandia for the PS1.

This is the first video for that series. It is actually a collaborative effort with myself and two other YouTubers, TheBdudeGames and Gjenrei. Both are great guys, who I'd recommend watching. I have also done another Speedy Tour, this time for the game Star Ocean The Second Story on PS1. It is a little tip about level grinding for early in the game.
