A few years ago before I met him his wife went throught their storage shed and she threw away almost all of his NES games from when he was a kid. StarTropics was his favorite and got thrown away. He found out a few months ago that they were gone and she had tossed them when we were goign to have a retro game meetup and he was really upset. I really would like to find a copy to give to him for his birthday this November.

Cyber_D85: I am not realy going for a complete collection. It would be nice, but really I just want to have some games to enjoy in the future and show future children how much gaming rocked back in the day.

That's a real shame what happened to your friend. I know what he's going through, my mom gave away both my Atari 2600's to goodwill without telling me. And who knows what she's done with my old NES and SNES. As for my Sega Genesis, somehow it ended up in my sisters basement and it's probably broken. *sigh*
