I recently bought this cheap AV to HDMI upscaler on ebay for $35, if you don't what it does, it basically takes a SD input such as Svideo or Composite (yello/red/wht) cleans up the image a little and scales it up to 720p or 1080p and it seems to do a good job too 🙂
