Breaking News: A NEW NEO-GEO CONSOLE IS REAL!

It’s been rumored for some time now that SNK Playmore was going to be working on a Neo-Geo Handheld and today the rumor that has been previously debunked comes to light.

A recent article on Joystiq reports that the fabled Neo-Geo handheld is in fact 100% real.  However all is not as it seems apparently as Tommo INC and Blaze will be releasing the handheld, and not SNK.
The handheld will include, a 3.5-inch LCD display, SD card support, A/V output, and a headphone port.  As well a list of launch ready games has been announced.

The handheld will be called the Neo Geo X and is slated for release sometime in 2012.  As stated Tommo INC will be handling distribution of the unit, and a price is TBA at the moment.  It is in fact, confirmed and will be coming to everyone shortly!
