Fix It Felix Jr. Arcade Game (Wreck-It Ralph Movie)

About The Movie:

Wreck-It Ralph is an upcoming 3D computer animated movie produced and distributed by Walt Disney Animation Studios.  It stars John C. Reilly, and Sarah Silverman as the main characters, and is directed by Rich Moore (former Animation Director for The Simpson’s and Futurama).  It looks very similar to a Pixar movie, though Pixar isn’t involved in any way with this film.  The story begins with Ralph who had been a villain in the classic 1980’s arcade game “Fix it Felix Jr.” for around 30 years.  Ralph over the years has grown tired of being “the bad guy” all of the time, so he decides to leave his game and venture into modern video games in search of his true self.  In doing so he runs into some classic characters from some mainstream games including Bowser (from the Super Mario Bros. series), Zangief (from the Street Fighter series),  the ghost (from the Pac-Man Series), and many more.

Disney was able to obtain the licenses for various classic video game characters for Wreck-It Ralph (very similar to the movie Who Framed Rodger Rabbit, where there were licensed cartoon characters from Disney, Warner Bros, and more).

To help promote the release, Disney has created the game Fix It Felix Jr. playable through Flash on their website.  You can play the game here: Fix it Felix Jr. game

Wreck-It Ralph comes out in theaters on November 2nd, 2012.
