Not too sure about it... I'll get one when it comes out depending on the demand, which I'll ask around for pre-orders. It appears many are pre-ordering just like the Wii launch, but how many of your were disappointed with the system in a few months? I'm just worried that I'll burst another $400 (Wii U is $500 in Australia) just for the excitement and realised it was the bad choice... Within 4 months I bought an XBOX 360, so not too sure about the Wii U yet.

I wanted this thing, but then I realized that for the next gen Final Fantasy game I would have to buy a next gen Sony, so Wii U NOT.

I think I'm gonna wait awhile on getting it. But I have tried the console at the "Wii U experience" in Seattle and I had fun with it.

I saw a WII U in person for the first time at Target today, and was unimpressed. I thought the controller felt cheap and the touch screen seemed low quality. The console is also bigger than I imagined and not very attractive to boot. Anyone else feel this way. I am definitely going to wait to purchase this system now.

I would really love to have it at launch, but I simply don't have the money. My hopes are high, though, because it is literally the ONLY thing I've put on my Christmas list, just to increase my chances of getting it exponentially.

I am getting one at launch. I just have not been this excited for a system since the SNES. Mostly because of the Idea of playing all the great Nintendo titles in HD. As much as the New Super Mario Bros. games are so similar, I like them and want to see Mario's first outing in HD. Sort of a milestone in gaming for me that I will look on and tell my kids about.

I actually like Nintendo's decision to not include a huge hard drive or flash memory in the console. Including one would just increase the price. Normal magnetic Hard drives are the most volatile of PC components. I like keeping it out of the console and giving you the option to add up to a 2TB drive in an enclosure. I know lots of people have extra hard drives around.

I paid off most of my Wii U layaway at walmart (all but $.01) and I am super excited for this sunday.
