I've started getting some great games for Wii recently and I wanted to ask for advice. A bunch of kids visit my place every weekend and I was wondering what to get? My son is really into fighting games, but the only fighting game for Wii I know is Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I need something with great local multiplayer option and for ages around 5-7.

Can't go wrong with Wii Party, Boom Blox, Wario Ware, or Mario Party. As for fighting games, Smash Bros. is popular with kids and I enjoyed Mortal Kombat Aramgeddon.

I second Buried's suggestions. Light gun games are a ton of fun for groups. Ghost Squad and House of the Dead are 2 greats.

Yeah, light gun shooters are great on the Wii. Careful about House of the Dead though. 2 & 3 are fine, but Overkill is not for kids!

As odd as it might seem, Pac Man Party for the Wii could be a decent choice. Its colorful, some fun and funny mini games, and if all else fails, the orginal Pac Man, Galaga and Dig Dug arcade games are included.
Although if it can play Gamecube games, Pac Man Fever is the better pick. Not as much content, but what is there is more fun, and the music is grrreat.
