http://www.retrousb.com
this is a great site they have reproduction carts for both NES and SNES and new games such as Battle Kid. They also have famicom games translated to english and playable in the for of an nes cart.

http://www.uncletusk.com

this site is cool for hardcore collectors, they sell reproduction boxes for nes, snes and a few atari 2600. Some of the boxes they have is battlekid, final fantasy 2 for nes!! and for snes they have super mario allstars + super mario world, and they have earthbound designed as a reg snes box.

http://www.timewalkgames.com

This next site has their games on the pricy side but are worth it as their boxes are amazingly detailed and well made they are currently doing final fantasy 4 5 & 6 with the right titles and with the translation as it was in japan to be played on your snes. Hope this helps 🙂

Mario Kart Virtual Cup for the Virtual Boy

I heard about this game, but it was unreleased! I'd love to play this game on the VB. I also heard that they were planning a Goldeneye 007 as well for the VB! 😀

A shooter would be perfect on the Virtual Boy. Hell Doom was on the gameboy colour.

Yeah a shooter would be great for the VB, I agree!

Gunlord on the Dreamcast is really awesome. Reminds me a lot of Super Metroid. Gamster81 himself did a review of the MVS version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXiDHriOJUw CGR has a really great review of the DC version.

It's not really a "home brew" per say, but Sweet Home for the NES is a fan translated game and is freaking sweet! It's by Capcom, and an early Resident Evil style horror game.

The best homebrew/Indie gameI have playedf is "To the Moon" for the PC. Its a point and click interactive story, but what an amazing styory it is. My personal game of the year in 2012. U can play a 1 hour demo at freebirdgames.com and if u like it, buy it for 11 dollars. The game will take u about 4 hours to complete, it is definitley worh checking out.

I've been playing Hero Quest for the NES a lot recently. It was suppose to come out, but never did. It's based on the classic adventure board game by Milton Bradley with the same name. Here is my review over it: http://dev2017.gamester81.com/unreleased-nes-game-hero-quest/
