How to Beat World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros. 3 Blindfolded

Sometimes I like to give myself these little challenges to breath new life into my old video games. I did some fun ones including eating a Bean Boozled jelly bean every time I fed the blob a jelly bean in A Boy and His Blob [WATCH] and one where I tried to swim through the seaweed on the second level of TMNT [WATCH] but one challenge I tried a few times and failed was to beat the first level of the first world of Super Mario Bros 3. I’m happy to say I found a way to do it and wanted to show you how YOU can do it, too!

The trick is all in the music.

Watch the video. You’ll see I keep walking the whole time (never running). See when I jump to the tune of song and you should be good. Give it a couple of tried to get the timing down and I guarantee you’ll get it, too!

After I originally did this, I got a lot of haters saying I cheated. Though I didn’t feel the need to prove myself, I did another video where I blindfold myself.

Seriously, give it a try and impress your friends.
