Mega Man & Sonic The Hedgehog team up to bash some skulls in one of many Streets of Rage ROM hacks, and I talk about a number of them in this Cygnus Destroyer Streets of Rage special! Thanks for watching:)

Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog section starts at 08:32, but I would suggest watching from the beginning, since I cover a lot of really cool hacks.

Sega released the original Streets of Rage in 1991, and it quickly established itself near the top of the beat ’em up hierarchy. Streets of Rage had two sequels on the Genesis before disappearing from the gaming scene. As a lifelong Streets of Rage fan, it’s disappointing that the franchise has been silent for over twenty years. Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled to discover that there were a ton of Streets of Rage ROM hacks, and the fact that Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog, among other characters from video games, movies and comics, make an appearance is just icing on the cake.
